Renewal of cautionary announcement regarding Central Bank of Nigeria
( " CBN " ) and the Attorney General of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria ( " AGF " ) engagements
Further to the cautionary announcement dated 30 August 2018 and the
subsequent renewal of the cautionary announcements, the last of
which was dated 29 October 2018, shareholders are advised that MTN
Nigeria Communications Limited continues to engage with the Nigerian
authorities in order to reach a mutually acceptable resolution on
both the CBN and AGF matters.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise
caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until a further
announcement is made.
