NUMSA MEMBERS EMBARK ON STRIKE
York advises shareholders that certain employees of the Company, affiliated with the National Union
of Metalworkers of South Africa ("NUMSA"), have embarked on a strike at its sawmills in the
Escarpment region since 13 November 2018.
York continues to pro-actively engage with the leadership of NUMSA to address the current strike,
and hopes that an agreement will be reached, in the near future, on a workable solution that is in
compliance with the Labour Relations Act, 68 of 1995.
The strike may have a negative impact on the Company’s operations and production.
If the status of the strike is changed, shareholders will be informed.
