of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that the Public
Investment Corporation has acquired further shares in the Company and its total
beneficial interest now amounts to 10.143% of the total number of shares in
issue.
Formal notification has been received from Public Investment Corporation and
Pick n Pay Stores Limited has filed the required notice with the Takeover
Regulation Panel.
