NUMSA STRIKE ENDED
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on the Stock Exchange News Service on
14 December 2018 regarding a strike by certain employees of the Company affiliated with the
National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa ("NUMSA").
York advises shareholders that the strike has been resolved and that NUMSA has been recognised
as the majority union at the Company.
Production will commence at the Company's operations in line with a start-up plan with effect from
today, 14 January 2019.
The impact of the strike on the business of the Company, once determined, will be communicated to
shareholders in the results for the six months ended 31 December 2018, which are expected to be
published on or about 29 March 2019.
