LEADERSHIP CHANGES
Shareholders of MMI Holdings and noteholders of MMI Group are advised
that Thinus Alsworth-Elvey, Chief Executive of Momentum Corporate, has
tendered his resignation effective 31 March 2019. The process to
appoint a successor will commence immediately.
Shareholders and noteholders are furthermore referred to the Company
announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service on 28
September 2018, wherein they were advised that the MMI Holdings Board
had appointed Mr Leon Basson as the acting Group Company Secretary with
effect from 1 October 2018.
After due consideration, the MMI Holdings Board has decided to appoint
CorpStat Governance Services (Pty) Ltd as Interim Group Company
Secretary, effective 1 March 2019. Mr Basson will relinquish his role
as the Acting Group Company Secretary on that date, to resume his other
duties in the Company. The search for a permanent Group Company
Secretary will continue and shareholders will be informed once an
appointment has been made.
