RESIGNATION AND APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board of directors of
Oceana ("Board") wishes to advise shareholders that, with effect from 1 June 2019, Ms. Jillian Marais
has resigned as Company Secretary and Ms. Adela Fortune has been appointed to the position.
Ms. Jillian Marais has taken up the role of Group Executive: Risk and Compliance within the Company,
but will continue to serve as Company Secretary until 1 June 2019.
Ms. Fortune's career spans over more than 10years working in various senior legal and governance
roles. She is a law graduate from the University of the Western Cape, a certified Director and Fellow
member of the Institute of Directors (SA). The Board is satisfied that Ms. Fortune has the competence,
qualifications and expertise to fulfil her role as Company Secretary.
The Board wishes both Ms. Marais and Ms. Fortune success in their new roles.
