Outcome of a legal dispute with Cell C
Shareholders are referred to the Company's announcement on
5 February 2019 in respect of which the Company advised that an article
had appeared in the media in terms of which subsidiaries of the
Company were cited as applicants in legal proceedings against Cell C
Service Provider Company Proprietary Limited (Cell C) (the litigation).
The Company is pleased to advise shareholders that the court has
upheld the application by the subsidiary companies in the litigation. The
litigation took the form of an urgent application to interdict Cell C from
inter alia terminating the subsidiary companies' access to the Cell C
mobile telephone network.
