RESIGNATION OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings
requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of directors
of Tongaat Hulett Ltd ("the Board") wishes to advise that
Mrs Jenitha John, an independent non-executive director
and chairman of the Audit and Compliance committee, has
regretfully tendered her resignation with effect from 31
May 2019, owing to other work commitments, and Tongaat
Hulett's increased demands on her time, given the current
business challenges.
Ms Fatima Daniels will assume the responsibility of Audit
and Compliance Committee Chairman.
The Board would like to express its sincere gratitude for
Mrs John's contribution to Tongaat Hulett and wishes her
well in her future endeavours.
