CHANGES TO THE BOARD: RESIGNATION OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Board of Directors of Wescoal (the Board) hereby notifies shareholders that Dr Martin van Wijngaarden
has resigned as an independent non-executive director with effect from 31 May 2019. He was appointed to
the Board on 14 February 2019.
As previously announced, the Company is currently in a transitional phase which has placed additional time
requirements on its non-executive directors. Due to Dr van Wijngaarden' pre-existing time commitments, he
is unable to dedicate sufficient time to fulfil his duties as an independent non-executive and he has therefore
resigned.
The Board takes this opportunity to express their appreciation to Dr van Wijngaarden and extends its best
wishes for his future endeavours.
