TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a company is required to publish a trading statement
as soon as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will differ
by at least 20% or more from those of the previous corresponding period.
For the financial year ended 31 March 2019, shareholders are advised that:
• basic earnings per share is expected to be between 162.6 cents and 172.6 cents compared
to a basic loss per share of 49.7 cents in the corresponding prior period; and
• headline earnings per share is expected to be between 139.9 cents and 150.1 cents
compared to headline loss per share of 50.6 cents in the corresponding prior period.
The earnings increase is attributable to excellent macadamia, banana and sugar crops for the year.
The Company's results for the financial year ended 31 March 2019 are expected to be published on
or about 12 June 2019
