WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released by the Company on 8 April 2019
and renewed on 24 May 2019 whereby shareholders were advised that Afrimat had made a non-
binding indicative offer ("NBIO") to purchase the entire issued share capital of Universal Coal plc
("Universal"), a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, with operations in South Africa.
Following a thorough due diligence process and extensive consideration Afrimat's Board and
management has decided not to proceed with the acquisition given the size and nature of the
transaction.
Given that the due diligence process and negotiations have been terminated the contents referred to
therein have ceased to have any relevance or effect on the Company and accordingly caution is no
longer required to be exercised by shareholders when dealing in their Afrimat securities.
