FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT RELATING TO THE SPECIAL CASH DIVIDEND
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement, dated 18 June 2019, which contained, inter alia, notice of
the declaration of a special cash dividend of 30 cents per share. Withholding tax on dividends at a rate of 20%
will be deducted for all shareholders who are not exempt in terms of the legislation. This will result in a final net
cash dividend of 24 cents per share to non-exempt shareholders.
The issued ordinary share capital of the company as at the declaration date was 1 341 426 963 ordinary shares.
The income tax number of the company is 9404/921/15/8.
The relevant approval from the South African Reserve Bank has now been obtained. Accordingly, the salient dates
associated with the special cash as set out in the SENS announcement dated 18 June 2019, are now final and are
confirmed as follows:
- Last day of trade to receive a dividend: Tuesday, 16 July 2019
- Shares commence trading ex-dividend: Wednesday, 17 July 2019
- Record date: Friday, 19 July 2019
- Payment date: Monday, 22 July 2019
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Wednesday, 17 July 2019 and Friday, 19
July 2019, both days inclusive.
