VOLUNTARY UPDATE ON CREDIT RATING
Stakeholders are advised that Global Credit Rating Co. ("GCR") has amended the Company's national scale
debt rating to BBB-, (which is defined as "average credit quality relative to other issuers or obligations in the
same country"), and A3, (which is defined as "average certainty of timely payment of short term obligations
relative to other issuers or obligations in the same country"), in the long and short term respectively.
The Company does not have any listed debt securities and the amended rating does not impact on the
restructuring of the Company's debt facilities which was announced with the Company's results on 25 June
2019, or the implementation of the proposed R2 billion underwritten rights offer, the proceeds of which will
be used to reduce the Company's present debt levels.
