FATALITY AT TSHEPONG MINE
Johannesburg, Friday, 26 July 2019. Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited
("Harmony" and/or "the Company") regrets to advise that one of its employees was
fatally injured following a fall of ground incident at its Tshepong mine, near
Welkom on Thursday morning.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague at Tshepong. Harmony's
management expresses their sincere condolences to our colleague's family,
friends and colleagues," said Peter Steenkamp, chief executive officer of
Harmony.
An investigation into the accident is currently underway.
