CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Mr Heinie Carl Werth (Heinie) will be resigning as a non-executive director of Santam
with effect from 1 August 2019, due to the change of his executive responsibilities at Sanlam Limited.
Heinie was appointed to the board in September 2016 and has served as a member of Santam's
Risk and Investment Committees. The board wishes to thank Heinie for his dedicated contribution
to the Group and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
