TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a
trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the
next period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2019 by
management has indicated that the basic earnings per share ("EPS") and headline earnings
per share ("HEPS") are expected to be between 32.57 cents and 36.00 cents, reflecting an
increase of between 15% and 27% compared to the EPS and HEPS of 28.35 cents for the
year ended 30 June 2018.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by Alaris' auditors. Alaris' financial results are expected to be released on SENS
on or about 26 September 2019.
