ANNOUNCEMENT IN TERMS OF SECTION 122 (1) and (3) of the COMPANIES ACT
In accordance with section 122(3) (b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 ("the Act") and section 3.83(b)
of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Alviva has received formal
notification in the prescribed form from Invesco Canada Limited ("Invesco") that, following recent share
repurchases by the Company, the beneficial interest in the securities of the Company held by Invesco's
Invesco Global Balanced Class EQ Fund has as at 30 August 2019 increased from 4,96% to 5,014% of the
total issued share capital of the Company. The total holding of all Invesco beneficial interest holdings has,
as a result of the share repurchases, increased from 29.4% to 29.7%.
As required in terms of section 122(3) (a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required
notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
