UPDATE REGARDING ACQUISITION OF PROTEA GARDENS MALL
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 30 July 2019 wherein shareholders were advised
that Exemplar had, subject to conducting a due diligence investigation, entered into an agreement ("agreement") with
Protea South Properties Proprietary Limited for acquisition of the property known as Protea Gardens Mall and the
rental enterprise in respect thereof (the "acquisition").
Shareholders are advised that Exemplar has concluded the due diligence investigation and that it will not be
proceeding with the acquisition. The agreement has accordingly terminated.
