TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SHARES
In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 ("the Companies Act"), regulation
121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations, 2011 and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Gemgrow has received notification from:
- Sanlam Investment Management Proprietary Limited ("Sanlam"), of an acquisition by Sanlam (on
behalf of its clients) of Gemgrow B shares such that Sanlam's total beneficial interest (on behalf of
its clients) is now 6.44% of Gemgrow's total issued B shares; and
- Old Mutual Limited ("Old Mutual"), of an acquisition by Old Mutual of Gemgrow B shares such
that Old Mutual's total beneficial interest is now 7.48% of Gemgrow's total issued B shares.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Gemgrow has filed the required notices
with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
