CHANGES TO THE FUNCTION OF DIRECTORS
The board of directors of Santam Limited ("the board") hereby notifies its shareholders that Ms
MLD Marole will serve as chairperson of the company's Human Resources and Remuneration
Committee with effect from 1 October 2019. Ms Marole is an independent director and has been a
member of this Committee from December 2011. She also serves as chairperson of the Social,
Ethics and Sustainability Committee.
Mr IM Kirk, who currently chairs the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee will continue
to serve as a member of the Committee.
