TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, companies are required to provide guidance to the market
when they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the
current reporting period will differ by at least 20% from the results of the previous corresponding reporting
period.
Shareholders are advised that the total loss per share and total headline loss per share from total
operations is expected to be 5.40 cents for the period ended 30 June 2019, reflecting an increase in the
loss per share of 257.6% when compared to the loss per share of 1.51 cents for the prior period ended
30 June 2018.
As from 30 June 2019, PLG Retirement Villages will be disclosed as a discontinued operation in line with
IFRS 5. Included in the loss per share of 5.40 cents, is the loss from discontinued operations of 5.32 cents
per share for the period ended 30 June 2019. Accordingly, the loss from continuing operations is
expected to be 0.08 cents per share for the same period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed and reported
on by the Company's auditors.
