Shareholders are referred to newspaper articles in both the Sporting Post and the Business Day, with
Business Day quoting as its source the Sporting Post, that "Kantor quits Phumelela Gaming, Tembe
steps up", published on 4 October and 7 October 2019 respectively. This claim by the newspapers is
factually incorrect. Mr Kantor has not stepped down as chairman of the Group, he will remain as
chairman at least until the AGM scheduled on 5 December 2019. The Board remains committed to its
transformation initiatives and shareholders will be advised of any changes to the Board via SENS at an
appropriate time.
