DRILLING PROGRESSING ON SCHEDULE
Emerging domestic natural gas and helium producer, Renergen, is pleased to provide an update
on the drilling of the horizontal well in the sandstone.
The drilling is on schedule and making good progress. Bohrmeister Technik (the Team) has
partially completed the vertical section and has reached a total vertical depth of 145 meters. The
Team is currently focused on completing the surface section, which includes casing, logging,
cementation and pressure testing.
The next phase of drilling, planned for commencement this Saturday, will see the mobilisation of
the Horizontal Directional Drilling rig, which will see a string of 1.5km long being drilled into the
sandstone to intercept the gas bearing structures within the two primary target zones, the upper
Vryheid Formation Sandstones and Dwyka Group Diamictite.
