CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Afrox shareholders are
advised of the resignation of Mr Matthias Vogt, the Group Financial Director of Afrox, with effect from
31 March 2020. Mr Vogt is returning to Europe to pursue other opportunities within The Linde Group.
Mr Vogt has been the Group Financial Director and an executive director of Afrox since 1 August
2017.
Mr Vogt will be serving his notice period until the end of March 2020 and the board of directors of
Afrox ("Board") would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr Vogt for his valuable contribution to
the Group during his tenure, wherein Afrox made significant progress and achieved a successful and
sustainable turnaround. The Board wishes him well in his future endeavours.
Afrox has appropriate succession planning in place within the finance function and is confident that a
new Group Financial Director will be appointed shortly to effect a smooth handover process.
