Amendments to the JSE Listings Requirements - JSE Consultation Paper
In September 2018, the JSE issued a JSE Consultation Paper for public comment in an attempt to
review its responsibilities and strengthen regulation around primary and secondary listings.
The JSE is pleased to confirm that it has made amendments to the JSE Listings Requirements (the
"Requirements") as published pursuant to Board Notice 180 of 2019 as published in the Government
Gazette No. 42812.
The effective date of the amendments to the Requirements is 2 December 2019.
The final amendments to the Requirements are available on the JSE's website:
https://www.jse.co.za/current-companies/issuer-regulation
The JSE is working with its publisher, LexisNexis, to prepare the new service issue to the Requirements
which will incorporate these amendments.
Please take note that a guidance letter on the implementation of certain amendments will be issued
and published prior to the effective date.
