Following the appointment of Mr AM de Ruyter as Group Chief
Executive Officer of Eskom Holdings SOC Limited as announced earlier
today, Nampak wishes, in terms of section 3.59 of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, to announce the resignation of Mr
de Ruyter as executive director and Chief Executive Officer of the
Board of Nampak Limited with effect from 15 January 2020. Mr de
Ruyter was also the chairman of the Nampak Products Limited Board,
chairman of the Group Executive Committee and a member of the Social
and Ethics Committee.
The Board of directors thanks Mr de Ruyter for his dedication and
valuable contribution during his tenure at Nampak since 1 January
2014 and wish him well in his new role at Eskom.
The Board will make an announcement regarding a successor on or
about 28 November 2019
