In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, Act 71 of 2008, as amended, and paragraph
3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that GAIA has been
notified that Mergence Investment Managers ("Mergence") on behalf of its clients, has acquired an indirect
beneficial interest in the securities of the Company, such that the total indirect beneficial interest held by
Mergence, on behalf of its clients, is now 11.8% of the total issued share capital of GAIA.
