30 June 2019 ("Report") has been distributed to shareholders. The Report is available on the
Company's website https://aep.co.za/investor-relations/.
Neither the audited annual financial statements nor the audit report contain any modifications to the
abridged audited financial results for the year ended 30 June 2019, which were released on SENS on
7 November 2019.
Notice of the Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of shareholders will be held in the
boardroom of the Company's legal advisors, Bowmans, at 11 Alice Lane, Sandton, Johannesburg at
09:00 on Tuesday, 3 March 2020, to transact the business as set out in the notice. The salient dates
relevant to the AGM are set out below:

Record date for determining those shareholders entitled to Friday, 29 November
receive the notice of AGM

Last day to trade in order to be eligible to participate in and vote Tuesday, 18 February
at the AGM
Record date to determine eligible shareholders who may attend, Friday, 21 February
