JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT - EXTENSION OF THE POSTAGE DATE OF THE COMBINED MANDATORY OFFER
CIRCULAR
INTRODUCTION
Nutritional Holdings shareholders are referred to the Firm Intention Announcement released on SENS on
25 November 2019 ("FIA"), wherein they were advised of the firm intention to make a mandatory offer to Nutritional
Holdings shareholders by Empire.
EXTENSION OF POSTAGE OF THE COMBINED MANDATORY OFFER CIRCULAR
Shareholders are referred to paragraph 8 of the FIA relating to the postage of the combined mandatory offer circular
("the Circular"). Due to the fact that all regulatory approvals will not be received by the end of 2019, an extension
to post the Circular has been received from the TRP.
Shareholders are therefore advised that it is anticipated that the Circular will be mailed to shareholders on or before
20 January 2020.
The board of directors of the Company, individually and collectively accepts full responsibility for the accuracy of
