TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from those of
the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that the Company expects the following to be reported for the year
ended 30 September 2019 ("2019 Year End Results"):
* earnings per share ("EPS") to be between 20.25 US cents and 22.96 US cents being
between 15.3% and 25.3% lower than the restated EPS for the year ended 30
September 2018 ("the Comparative Period") of 27.10 US cents; and
* headline earnings per share ("HEPS") to be between 18.07 US cents and 20.14 US cents
being between 2.71% and 12.71% lower than that for the restated Comparative Period of
20.70 US cents.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by the Company's auditors.
The 2019 Year End Results are expected to be published on or about 20 December 2019.
