APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg Stock
Exchange, the Board of Directors of 4Sight is pleased to announce the appointment of
Dr Sidharth Sharma ("Sidharth") as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the
Company, with effect from 23 December 2019.
Sidharth is based in Mauritius and holds a B.Sc (Electrical Engineering) from the University of
Cape Town and a M.Sc (Communication and Systems Engineering) from the University of
Bristol. He also holds a PhD (Wireless network planning), also from the University of Bristol.
Sidharth is currently the Group CEO of RHT Holdings Limited, a listed company on the
Mauritius Stock Exchange, which interests include public transport, investment, private
equity, real estate and information technology. He is also an independent non-executive
director of Semaris Limited, which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. Previously, he
has held numerous senior management positions at RHT Ventures Limited, Island
Communications Limited and BT. In the past, Sidharth has been a board member of the
Mauritius Institute of Directors and Mammouth Mauritius Ltd as well as contributing at the
level of the strategic advisory committee of Port Louis Development Initiative (PLDI).
Currently he is a member of the National Road Safety Council. Over the course of his career,
Sigharth has received numerous accolades including a Mauritius Business Excellence
award.
The Board welcomes Sidharth and looks forward to his contribution to the Group. This
appointment completes the previously announced regularisation process in relation to the
required Board composition.
