CHANGES TO THE GPI BOARD
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(c) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board
of directors of the Company ( the Board') wishes to advise shareholders that Mr Alex
Abercrombie, an existing non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed as
chairman of the Board with effect from 31 January 2020.
Mr Abercrombie is an attorney by profession. His association with GPI dates back to the
inception of the Company in 1997 when he was appointed as a non-executive director. In
2012, he was appointed as the executive director responsible for the Group's gambling
operations until his retirement from the executive role in 2015. Mr Abercrombie is the
Chairman of the board of Sun Slots (RF) (Pty) Ltd and Worcester Casino (Pty) Ltd and
represents GPI interest on the board of Sun West International (Pty) Ltd.
The Board welcomes Mr Abercrombie as non-executive Chairman and looks forward to his
leadership and guidance.
