RECEIPT OF COMPETITION APPROVAL FOR THE DISPOSAL OF NAMPAK S GLASS BUSINESS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released by the Company on
SENS on 27 September 2019, regarding the proposed disposal of Nampak Glass
("Disposal").
Shareholders are hereby advised that on 14 February 2020 the Competition
Commission granted merger approval, subject to certain conditions. The
conditions imposed by the Competition Commission are acceptable to the
parties.
The Disposal remains subject to one outstanding suspensive condition which
relates to the transfer and or issue to the purchaser of certain material
licenses and permits.
Shareholders will be updated on or before 31 March 2020.
