TRADING STATEMENT - YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2019
Pending publication of the Company's provisional results for the year ended 31 December
2019 ("current period"), expected to occur on or about 31 March 2020, shareholders are
advised that based on information currently available, the Company expects:
* basic loss per share for the current period to be between 250 and 280 cents compared
to the reported basic earnings per share of 1 610 cents for the year ended 31 December
2018 ("prior period"); and
* headline loss per share for the current period to be between 10 and 20 cents compared
to the reported headline loss per share of 1 818 cents for the prior period. This
represents a positive change of between 99,0 and 99,5%.
The basic loss per share for the current period includes an accrual for dividends tax on the
Company of 100 cents per share, which arose on the unbundling of Textainer Group
Holdings Limited secondary inward listed shares previously held by the Company.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed
nor reported on by Trencor's independent auditors.
