DISCLOSURE OF DISPOSAL OF SECURITIES IN PICK N PAY STORES LIMITED

JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that Coronation Asset Management
(Pty) Ltd has disposed of shares in Pick n Pay Stores Limited on behalf of its clients. Its
total beneficial interest has been reduced by 1.73%, with its shareholding now
amounting to 4.54% of the total number of shares in issue.
Formal notification has been received from Coronation Asset Management (Pty) Ltd and
Pick n Pay Stores Limited has filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation
Panel.
