established in terms of Notice No. 6770, promulgated in the Provincial Gazette Extraordinary of 1
October 2000 in terms of section 12(1) read with section 14(2) of the Local Government : Municipal
Structures Act, 1998, as amended)

Update: The City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality Investor Engagements
Following the decision taken in March 2020 by the Gauteng Premier to invoke section 139(1)(c) of the
Constitution and place the City of Tshwane under administration, and the subsequent endorsement of
the decision by the National Council of Provinces, the City of Tshwane engaged with noteholders on
the 24th of March and the 3rd of April to discuss the impact of the decision.
Following from the aforementioned discussions, the City of Tshwane has made the following relevant
documentation available for review and download on the City of Tshwane’s website at,
http://www.tshwane.gov.za/sites/Departments/Financial-Services/Financial-
Documents/Pages/Investor-Information.aspx
1. the waiver agreement;
2. a summary of the various loan covenants;
3. cash flow projections; and
4. plans to deal with COVID-19 and the lockdown.

davidmasi@tshwane.gov.za by no later than 17:00 on 20 April 2020.
