ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES BY ZAHID TRACTOR & HEAVY MACHINERY
LIMITED
In accordance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008, as amended
and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Barloworld shareholders
are advised that the Company has received a formal notification that Zahid Tractor &
Heavy Machinery Co. Limited has in aggregate, acquired an interest of 5.0% in the total
issued ordinary shares of the Company.
Zahid Tractor & Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd is a member of the Zahid Group of companies,
a long established, diversified group headquartered in Saudi Arabia.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, Barloworld has filed the required
notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
