Moody’s has revised the Anglo American plc (“AA plc”) outlook to
negative from stable
In accordance with paragraph 7.46 of the JSE Debt Listings
Requirements, noteholders are advised that Moody’s has affirmed
the senior unsecured ratings of AA plc and its subsidiaries at
Baa2 and revised the outlook to negative from stable. Moody’s
has also affirmed the short term rating of P-2. Concurrently,
Moody’s has affirmed the company’s national scale rating (“NSR”)
of Aaa.za. AA plc is the Guarantor under Anglo American SA
Finance Ltd’s R20bn DMTN Programme.
