AVAILABILITY OF THE STANDARD BANK NAMIBIA LIMITED ANNUAL
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
As per the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, the Annual Financial
Statements for Standard Bank Namibia Limited have been made
available on the Company’s website.
The Company further wishes to advise that their audit reports
were unqualified.
During 2019, there was a review of the presentation of company’s
statement of financial position. It was identified that
international banking sector disclosure does not aggregate
balances with group companies and report them separately on the
statement of financial position but rather reports these
intergroup exposures together with third-party exposures. During
the year, these line items have been reclassified into the
underlying asset and liability line items to provide a fairer
representation of the company’s statement of financial position
as a separate legal entity. Further details regarding the
restatement on the company’s statement of financial positions
may be viewed in the Annual Report which is available through
