UPDATE IN RELATION TO DISPOSAL OF INTEREST IN BURGER KING
Shareholders are referred to the Company’s detailed terms announcement released on SENS
on 19 February 2020 regarding the proposed disposal of the Company’s shares it holds in (i)
Burger King (South Africa) RF Proprietary Limited and (ii) Grand Foods Meat Plant Proprietary
Limited, to ECP Africa Fund IV LLC (“Disposal”).
Shareholders are hereby notified that, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the parties are
renegotiating the terms and conditions of the Disposal.
Shareholders will be updated in due course, which will include an update in relation to the
circular if renegotiations are successful.
