APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of the
Company (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Amasi Mwela has been appointed as a non-
executive director of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr Mwela holds a B Com (Finance) from Bond University and an MBA from Milpark Business School.
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Private Property South Africa Proprietary Limited (“Private
Property”). Prior to Private Property, Mr Mwela held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Fundi Capital
Proprietary Limited (“Fundi Capital”) before his appointment as Fundi Capital’s Chief Executive Officer. His
tenure at Fundi Capital followed his time as Head of Operations of Old Mutual Iwyze.
The Board welcomes Mr Mwela to Cognition and looks forward to his contribution towards assisting the
Board in achieving its objectives.
