CHANGE IN AUDITOR
Shareholders are advised in terms of paragraph 3.78 of the JSE Listings Requirements
that Mazars Inc. (“Mazars”) have been appointed as external auditors, with Mr Miles
Fisher as designated audit partner for the current financial year ending 30 June 2020,
replacing PwC Incorporated with immediate effect.
The change in audit firm was initiated by the Company and is due to the restructure of
the group and related overhead cost base. As such, the Company requested proposals
for the 2020 audit of the Company from other audit firms. The Audit and Risk Committee
of the Company concluded that the services of PwC as auditors should be terminated
in order to align with the restructuring of the group and the budget which the
Company had set aside for audit services.
