CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Ms Clarissa Appana has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Sygnia with
immediate effect.
Ms Appana has worked in South Africa, the USA and in Europe, managing teams across different
geographies and disciplines with a focus on people and teamwork. She is an experienced Financial
Director with a demonstrated history of working in listed and non-listed groups. She has spent the
last 10 years with the Tenova Group in various senior roles including Head of Internal Audit and
Compliance.
Ms Appana holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree and an Honours degree from the
University of KwaZulu-Natal. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005 having completed
articles with PWC.
