CHANGE TO THE CURRO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the JSE Equity Listings Requirements and
paragraph 6.39(a) of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, respectively, the board of directors
of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to advise that Mr Themba Baloyi ("Themba") has
accepted an invitation to join the Board and has been appointed as an independent
non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 November 2020. Themba will be
succeeding Mr Zitulele Luke Combi (“KK”) who will be retiring as an independent
non-executive director of the Company, as well as chairperson and as a member on all board
committees, with effect from 30 November 2020. Accordingly, Themba has also been
appointed as a member and chairperson of the remuneration and nominations committee as
well as a member of the audit and risk committee of the Company, with effect from
30 November 2020.
Themba studied Cost and Management Accounting and has an Executive MBA from Henley
Business School (UK). Themba founded Discovery Insure Limited, a short-term insurance
company launched in 2011. Themba is a co-founder of Sithega Holdings, which invests in
companies that endeavour to increase access to financial freedom.
The Board is pleased to welcome Themba to the Board and looks forward to his contribution.
