DISPOSAL OF SECURITIES BY RAND MERCHANT BANK (A DIVISION OF
FIRSTRAND BANK LIMITED)
In accordance with section 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements and section
122(3)(b) of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008, shareholders are hereby advised
that Tongaat Hulett has received formal notification that Rand Merchant Bank, a
division of FirstRand Bank Limited (“Rand Merchant Bank”) has gradually disposed of
a beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of the Company since February 2020,
such that the total beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of the Company held by
Rand Merchant Bank now amounts to 0% of the total issued ordinary shares of the
Company.
As required in terms of Section 122 of the Companies Act, the required notice will be
filed with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
