APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In terms of paragraphs 3.59 and 6.39 of the Listings Requirements and the Debt Listings requirements
of the JSE Limited, respectively, shareholders and noteholders are herewith advised that Ms Abigail
Muelelwa Mukhuba (“Abigail”) has been appointed as a non-executive director to the board of Santam
Limited (“Board”), effective 16 November 2020. Abigail will serve on the Company’s Risk and
Investment Committees. Santam confirms that the appointment of Abigail was done in accordance
with the Company’s policy for the selection and appointment of directors.
Abigail is currently the Finance Director of Sanlam Limited. She has previously served as Finance
Director of African Rainbow Minerals Limited. She has also held several senior financial positions at
KPMG Inc., BMW SA and Exxaro Resources Limited.
The Board welcomes Abigail to Santam and looks forward to her contribution towards assisting
the Company in achieving its objectives.
