CPV Power Plant No.1 Rating Action By Moody’s
Moody’s Investors Service, (“Moody’s”) has affirmed the senior
secured Ba3 global scale rating of CPV Power Plant No.1 Bond SPV
(RF) Limited's (the Issuer) ZAR 1 billion note and upgraded its
national scale senior secured rating to A2.za from A3.za.
Concurrently, the outlook has been changed to negative.
The rating action is directly related to Moody's decision to
downgrade the rating of the Government of South Africa to Ba2,
with negative outlook, from Ba1 with negative outlook, on 20
November 2020.
