GLOBAL CREDIT RATING CO (“GCR”) AFFIRMS RATINGS ASSIGNED TO SASFIN BANK

On 3 December 2020 GCR affirmed the national scale rating assigned to Sasfin Bank Limited of
BBB+(ZA) and A2 (ZA) in the long and short term respectively; with the outlook accorded as
Negative. At the same time, Sasfin Bank Limited’s long-term international scale rating has remained
unchanged at B with a Stable outlook. The international scale rating reflects the strained operating
environment of South Africa and increasing sector risk due to COVID-19.
