DIRECTORATE CHANGE
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Ms. Aluphele Sithebe (“Alu”) has been appointed an independent non-executive director of Dis-
Chem with immediate effect. Alu has also been appointed a member of the Company’s Audit and Risk
Committee.
Alu is a CA (SA) and has an MBA from the Gordons Institute of Business Science. Alu is a Private Equity
investment professional with many years of experience in the financial services and corporate finance
industry. Alu sits on a number of other Boards as well as on a number of other Audit Committees.
The board of directors welcomes Alu to the Dis-Chem Board and looks forward to working with her in
future.
