CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
It is with great sadness that the board of directors of Quantum Foods (“Board”) advises shareholders of the passing of
Professor Abdus Salam Mohammad Karaan, an independent non-executive director and the lead independent director
of the Company, on Wednesday, 13 January 2021.
Prof. Karaan served as a member of the Board for almost 7 years and contributed a wealth of knowledge, experience
and expertise to the Company. The Board is appreciative of Prof. Karaan’s invaluable guidance and leadership to the
Board and the Company during his tenure.
The Board and the Company would like to convey their sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
